Brock Lesnar’s WWE Return Not Triple H’s Decision
Questions remain over whether or not Brock Lesnar will ever return to WWE, but it seems that decision is above Triple H’s head.
Brock Lesnar has not been seen in WWE since SummerSlam 2023, where he lost to Cody Rhodes. An apparent return at the Royal Rumble in 2024 was cancelled after Brock Lesnar was implicated in the sexual abuse lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon by a former WWE employee.
Lesnar’s return to WWE came into sharp focus again when the company began selling his merchandise again, while ex-UFC star Daniel Cormier recently noted Lesnar remains on WWE’s “banned list.”
Lawyers Will Rule On Brock Lesnar In WWE
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave more insight into Lesnar’s status, and it seems that if he does return, it will be decided by people other than Triple H:
I mean, he’s not allowed, and the lawyers won’t let him do it. I don’t know if there’s anything … I mean, people have been talking about it. But this has been the same thing since the Janel Grant lawsuit has been filed, as far as I know.
It’s up to the lawyers. If the lawyers say it’s okay, they’ll bring him in tomorrow. But obviously, their belief is he shouldn’t be on their TV … It’s been that way for a year and a half. I mean, he was on the banned list from the … when they took him out of the Royal Rumble. Last year’s Royal Rumble, not this year’s.
