Brock Lesnar’s Next Opponent Could Be Top WWE Heel
What’s next for Brock Lesnar after facing John Cena at WWE Wrestlepalooza?
The Beast Incarnate returned to the Stamford-based company at SummerSlam after two years of absence. He directly went after the Leader of the Cenation, taking him out with an F5 following the latter’s loss to Cody Rhodes in an Undisputed WWE Championship match.
After destroying Cena again on SmackDown a few weeks later, a match was made official between the two massive WWE legends at Wrestlepalooza.
Last Saturday, Lesnar shockingly squashed The Never Seen 17 on the first premium live event on ESPN. The match’s scenario left many wondering about The Beast Incarnate’s next step.
While some reports suggested the company would move on from his feud with Cena, others predicted he might face the retiring megastar in his final match in December.
Ex-WWE Manager Suggests Seth Rollins As Brock Lesnar’s Next Opponent
While Brock Lesnar was occupied with his feud with John Cena, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was part of a storyline with CM Punk. The Visionary and his wife, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, lost to The Second City Saint and AJ Lee at Wrestlepalooza.
Speaking on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the former WWE manager suggested The Visionary could become The Beast Incarnate’s next target.
Seth. I think him, Seth and Brock. That would do well. I don’t know how well it would do over a period of time. And even though he’s a heel, I think he’d be a babyface in that one. And he would fit it. [15:34 onwards]
