Former WWE Champion Suggests Tag Team With Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar teaming up with one of his biggest rivals to form a tag team? At least one former WWE Champion thinks it’s a great idea even though it be “far-fetched” right now.

For many years, fans really wanted to see Brock Lesnar feuding with Bobby Lashley. In 2022, they finally got to see it as the two future WWE Hall of Famers wrestled at Royal Rumble 2022 with Lashley picking up the cheap win thanks to Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman getting involved.

When Lesnar faced Lashley again at Crown Jewel 2022, Lesnar got the win by countering the Hurt Lock and laying on top of Lashley for the win even though Lashley stood tall by beating up Brock Lesnar some more after the match.

At Elimination Chamber last month, Lashley beat Lesnar with a low blow. The finish was originally going to be Brock Lesnar winning, but since Lesnar shut down WWE’s idea of having him wrestle Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39, the company had to come up with another finish.

While speaking to the Sony Sports Network, Lashley floated the idea of becoming a tag team with Brock Lesnar while comparing their potential dominance to that of the Legion of Doom/Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal).

“The another thing I thought, this is completely far fetched on a whole different angle. I thought, you know, me and Brock fight a lot against each other, what if we were on the same team? We’d almost be like a modern day Road Warriors.”

“It would probably be fun, the crowd would probably get off on watching us just go through and annihilate people together, that would be pretty interesting.”

Bobby Lashley also made it clear that he wants to win the Tag Team Titles in WWE so he can be a Grand Slam Champion in the company.

The Lesnar-Lashley rivalry is over for now with Brock Lesnar set to face Omos at WrestleMania 39 while Lashley is expected to be against Bray Wyatt, which is not official yet.
