Brock Lesnar’s Suspension Official Lifted, Return Date Confirmed

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns face off

WWE has officially announced that Brock Lesnar is no longer suspended and will return to Friday Night SmackDown on December 3rd.

To the dismay of Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, Brock Lesnar is returning to WWE SmackDown.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Reigns and Heyman opened the show to respond to Kayla Braxton’s earlier suggestion that Brock Lesnar’s previously indefinite suspension was not indefinite anymore, and the ‘Conquerer’ would be back in WWE soon.

An irate Heyman said that rumours counted for nothing, and implied that unless Braxton came up with proof, Braxton’s job would be in jeopardy.

Reigns took the mic at this point to remind everyone that he defeated WWE Champion Big E at Survivor Series. He’s also beaten everyone who has been put in front of him. He went on to call himself the “Greatest of All Time” while he and Heyman changed tack to insist that Lesnar was not a threat anyway.

At the end of the show, ‘The Tribal Chief’ discovered who his next Universal Championship defence would be against when Sami Zayn won the Black Friday Invitational Battle Royal after eliminating Jeff Hardy last to become the Number One Contender.

This turn of events was well-received by Reigns and his tribe, but the mood quickly changed when Kayla Braxton not only confirmed that Brock Lesnar’s suspension was over, but that the ‘Beast’ would be on SmackDown the very next week on December 3rd.

Brock Lesnar hasn’t been on WWE TV since the night after his defeat to Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. On the October 22nd SmackDown, Lesnar attacked Reigns, before brawling with both him and the Usos. During the chaos, he also attacked WWE personnel who came to diffuse the situation, this led to WWE Official Adam Pearce announcing his suspension and a $1million fine. Unfortunately for Pearce, Lesnar took the news badly and gave Pearce an F-5 for his trouble.
