Brock Lesnar Appears On SmackDown Despite Reports Of Walkout
Brock Lesnar made a shocking appearance on SmackDown just hours after it was reported that he had walked out of the taping.
July 22nd 2022 was a day for the record books. After it had been announced that Triple H would be returning to his former role as Head of Talent Relations, Vince McMahon shocked the world by announcing his retirement.
In the aftermath of the announcement it was reported that Brock Lesnar walked out of the upcoming SmackDown taping. Lesnar had been scheduled to be heavily featured as the build continues towards his huge showdown with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
It was noted that Lesnar was “p*ssed off” and took the approach that if Vince McMahon was gone so was he.
But not quite.
With just two minutes of the show remaining, Lesnar’s signature entrance music thundered around the area to the surprise of every in attendance and seemingly Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on commentary.
He might have left it late in the day, but those couple of moments was all that he needed to send a message to Reigns. Sporting a huge grin, Lesnar marched to the ring and demolished Theory in short order to stand tall as the show went off the air.
Theory had just teamed with The Usos to take on The Street Profits and Madcap Moss. The match ended with the Money In The Bank winner getting disqualified for using his briefcase.
