Brock Lesnar Not In Charge Of WWE Return
Brock Lesnar won’t decide if he ever returns to WWE.
Triple H sparked controversy in a recent interview by claiming he’ll speak with Brock Lesnar when the star decides to work with WWE again. The comments riled many online as they completely overlooked why Lesanar has been absent from the company since August 2023.
Back in January, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. The lawsuit contained allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking, and although he wasn’t named directly, Lesnar was also implicated. It was reported that the “former UFC Champion and WWE Superstar” named in the filing was Lesnar.
In the wake of the filing, plans to use Lesnar at the Royal Rumble were dropped, and he was removed from all creative moving forward.
Brock Lesnar Won’t Decide WWE Fate
However, it’s now been reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that should Lesnar ever come back to WWE, the decision won’t be his. This completely contradicts the earlier comments from Triple H.
The situation right now is that there were reasons having to do with what was in the Grant lawsuit that WWE legal felt it was not good to have Lesnar on television. When that belief changes, Lesnar will be back and on television. It’s not his decision to decide to come back, it is their decision on if they want him back and when.
Lesnar last wrestled for WWE at SummerSlam 2023 where he was defeated by Cody Rhodes.
