Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena Still A Possibility For The Final Match

Brock Lesnar F5 John Cena WWE

Brock Lesnar took on John Cena at Wrestlepalooza and destroyed him with 6 F5s. Fans had expected The Champ to address that, but it never happened, and the feud ended there.

It seemed bizarre that The Last Real Champion wouldn’t address the situation at all, and WWE would have Brock Lesnar directly enter a feud against the top babyfaces for WarGames.

Furthermore, The Beast isn’t announced for the ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament either.

There is one scenario where Brock Lesnar can become John Cena’s final opponent

Despite The Beast not being in the tournament bracket, he can find a way to be the superstar who retires John Cena.

While speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ The Coach and Bro Show, Vince Russo laid out a scenario where Brock Lesnar takes down the winner of the tournament to make himself the final opponent.

They’re not thinking about him, coach. That’s the problem. If [John] Cena is your property, you’re doing that… I’m still holding out that whoever wins the tournament. Brock Lesnar’s going to take them out, and Brock Lesnar’s going to have the match with Cena. I’m still holding out for that, coach.

John Cena and Brock Lesnar are both booked for Survivor Series 2025. The Champ will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio, while Lesnar will be a part of WarGames.
