Brock Lesnar Called Out For Huge WWE WrestleMania Match By Ex-Rival
A 33-year-old WWE star has expressed his desire to square off with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.
The Beast Incarnate returned to the Stamford-based company at SummerSlam after a two-year absence. He immediately targeted John Cena, who had just lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes.
The 48-year-old later went head-to-head with the Leader of the Cenation at Wrestlepalooza in a match that saw him squash the retiring 17-time world champion.
While Lesnar has been absent since defeating Cena, another superstar has issued a challenge to him.
Omos Wants To Face Brock Lesnar at WWE WrestleMania 42
Despite wrestling in other promotions and at NXT live events, Omos has not appeared on WWE TV in over a year, since competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown in April 2024.
Speaking to TMZ, The Nigerian Giant admitted his desire to wrestle at the upcoming Show of Shows in Las Vegas. When asked about his preferred opponent, he named Brock Lesnar.
‘Mania last year in Vegas was awesome, man. Being in that environment — the lights, the energy, the big city vibe — it’s incredible. Going back there again? Chef’s kiss. I’m excited, I’m thrilled to return, and I’m definitely looking forward to being on the card this year.
My dream opponent? Since it’s going to be even bigger in Vegas, I’ll say it — Brock Lesnar. We need to run it back. We need to run it back. [H/T: Ringside News]
Omos had a brief feud with The Beast Incarnate in early 2023, which culminated in a match at WrestleMania 39 that ended in Lesnar’s victory.
