Brock Lesnar Beats Bobby Lashley At Crown Jewel

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar has survived the challenge of Bobby Lashley to kick off Crown Jewel 2022 with a massive win.

Lesnar and Lashley faced off one-on-one for only the second time ever to begin the premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The first time the two stars faced off like that was at the 2022 Royal Rumble when Lashley dethroned Lesnar for the WWE Championship with more than a little help from Roman Reigns.

Lesnar returned to WWE screens for the first time since SummerSlam on the 10th of October edition of Monday Night Raw, attacking Bobby Lashley which allowed Seth Rollins to defeat him for the WWE United States Championship.

Bobby Lashley took the fight to Lesnar before the bell, attacking him outside the ring, spearing him through the barricade. Lesnar was uncharacteristically dominated throughout the match by his opponent and his win was a matter of some uncertainty.

Lashley had Lesnar trapped in The Hurt Lock and when The Beast looked just about out of it he kicked off the ropes to launch Lashley backward. Lesnar landed on top of Lashley in a messy fashion but picked up the win. After the match, Bobby Lashley trapped Lesnar back in The Hurt Lock and left him lying in the ring.

Crown Jewel is the seventh appearance of Brock Lesnar on one of WWE’s shows in the Middle Eastern Kingdom. He has only suffered one loss in that time, losing to Reigns at 2021’s Crown Jewel.

With the two crossover MMA stars now holding one win apiece over each other, there might well be something to Bobby Lashley’s recent comments in which he stated he thinks his rivalry with Brock Lesnar will continue long past Crown Jewel.
