Brock Lesnar Among Surprise Names Set For WarGames At Survivor Series

Brock Lesnar is heading back to WWE.

At Wrestlepalooza, Brock Lesnar stepped back into a WWE ring for the first time since SummerSlam 2023.

On the Premium Live Event that marked the start of WWE’s partnership with ESPN, Lesnar flattened John Cena in a little under nine minutes. To hammer the demolition home, he destroyed Cena with six F-5s and took out a referee for good measure.

Since then, Lesnar has disappeared, but it seems he’ll be back for another of WWE’s flagship events.

Brock Lesnar Will Compete At Survivor Series

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer gave several updates on Survivor Series and the three main matches on the card.

This included the men’s WarGames match that features a couple of eye-catching names. As noted by Meltzer, the match will pit The Vision against The Bloodline, with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, and Austin Theory meeting Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso, and a mystery fifth member. This is likely to be Jimmy Uso or LA Knight.

While Lesnar’s involvement could come via his relationship with Paul Heyman, Theory’s inclusion has also raised eyebrows. The former Money In The Bank winner hasn’t wrestled on the main roster since April, and has been away from the main event picture for even longer.

The report added that AJ Lee could make her in-ring return in the women’s match, while John Cena is expected to challenge for championship gold.
