Britt Baker Training With WWE Hall Of Famer
Britt Baker is preparing to get back in the ring.
After becoming the first woman to sign with AEW back in 2019, Britt Baker went on to establish herself as one of the biggest names in the company. The star is a former Women’s World Champion and has tangled with many of the biggest stars the division has to offer.
However, Baker has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury for several months, but it seems she’s inching closer to a comeback.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Diamond Dallas Page lifted the lid on a recent training session with the star, revealing she worked out on the mat, with weights and then completed a cold plunge.
“She’s been off TV for a while because of injury. She’s coming back, she looks amazing. Her body looks great and she was blown away by the pump that she got. She was live and ready to go. She was a little intimidated by the cold plunge, as most everybody is who has never done it. She got in there. It’s all mental. Within a minute, she owned it. She stayed for three minutes. It’s like 41 degrees,”
Page went on to heap praise on Baker, adding he can’t wait to see her get back in the ring.
It was a great day all around. Just talking about the business, what she wants to do when she comes back and all of that. She’s a top talent. You’re looking at men and women, you’re looking at Britt. What she’s done as a character, as a promo, and what she’s done in the ring. I’m looking forward to seeing her get back.”
When Did Britt Baker Last Wrestle?
Britt Baker hasn’t wrestled since being beaten by Kris Statlander back in mid-September — missing out on the TBS Title in the process.
In March, Tony Khan said Baker could be back “soon,” but since then things have been largely quiet on her progress.
