Britt Baker Might Not Be Done With AEW

What’s next for Britt Baker?

As her absence from the company continues, it was recently highlighted that Britt Baker had removed all references to AEW on her social media accounts. However, as reported previously, she remains under contract with the company.

According to that report, Baker will be All Elite until the fall of 2026; however, with injury time added, she could stay with the promotion into 2027.

The former AEW Women’s Champion has now been missing from television for 11th months, and no official explanation for that absence has been given. This has only added to speculation that Baker could be heading to WWE when her contractual situation allows.

Is There A Way Back For Britt Baker?

Despite the overwhelming evidence suggesting that Baker has wrestled her last match in AEW, Tony Khan has refused to close the door on a comeback.

In a new interview with Josh Martinez of Z100 New York, Khan confirmed that Baker is still with the company, adding that he’d “love” to have her back in the fold.

“Britt Baker, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., and what a great star in AEW Dr. Britt Baker has been and she is still a fantastic, fantastic wrestling star, and she’s been away from AEW for a while, but still very much with us and at some point, hopefully soon, I’d love to see Dr. Britt Baker come back.”

Baker’s most recent appearance came on the November 13, 2024, edition of Dynamite, where she beat Penelope Ford.

After the match, she was confronted by Serena Deeb, but Baker controversially dismissed her, repeating the phrase “no one cares” into the camera after the star made her entrance.
