Britt Baker Sends Heartfelt Message To Fans Amid AEW Absence
Britt Baker has sent a special message to fans as her long AEW hiatus continues.
It has now been 11 months since Britt Baker was seen in AEW when she picked up a win on Dynamite over Penelope Ford. This is not the first time that questions have been asked about Baker’s role in the company, as her match with Hikaru Shida in July 2024 came after another ten-month hiatus.
Baker is not believed to be injured and is still under an AEW contract, so the reasons for her absence remain a mystery officially. However, many have pointed to her reaction to being confronted by Serena Deeb on AEW TV when Baker clearly told the camera, “no one cares”, as a possible reason why Tony Khan might not want to use her anymore.
AEW returned to Baker’s hometown of Pittsburgh for the September 24th edition of Dynamite, but that show came and went without any sight of Baker. But she’s still grateful for those supporting her.
Britt Baker Still Grateful For Support
Taking to social media, Britt Baker took to social media to send a message of thanks to the fans who keep showing their love for the DMD despite her continued absence from the ring:
We’re always so quick to burn the trolls on this app, but never quick enough to appreciate the true fans who show love every day. Thank you

There have been many returns to AEW in recent weeks from other stars who also faced long layoffs for varying reasons. Wardlow injured himself badly when he made his comeback at Forbidden Door to attack Prince Nana and join The Don Callis Family.
Jack Perry returned at All Out to reunite with Luchasaurus and reform Jurassic Express, as both men look to put a very tricky couple of years behind them. All Out also saw PAC make his return to the company as he helped Jon Moxley defeat Darby Allin in a coffin match.
