Bret Hart Faces Goldberg Trolling On WWE Raw
Bret Hart returned to WWE on Monday Night Raw and found himself hearing the one word he really didn’t want to hear from World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther.
Raw took place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, a city synonymous with the legendary Hart family so it was only fitting that five-time WWE Champion Bret Hart made his return there. The Hitman was welcomed by announcers Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett and Hart told the crowd how proud he was to have been a Canadian world champion. But an Austrian world champion was listening.
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther made his way to the ring to confront Hart. Gunther told Hart he was one of his childhood heroes and was a close second to his ultimate hero, Goldberg.
Bret Hart Tells Gunther He’s A Coward
Knowing just how deep that jab might have cut Hart given his never-ending disdain for Goldberg, Sami Zayn made his way to the ring to take Gunther to task. Sami Zayn issued another challenge for the World Heavyweight Title but Gunther walked away which led to Hart calling him a yellow, gutless coward.

Gunther made his way back to the ring upon hearing this but was attacked by Zayn before officials broke up the altercation. Bret Hart had his hand raised by Sami Zayn as the two Canadian icons took in the love from their compatriots in the Saddledome.
