Bret Hart Blasts Hulk Hogan For Holding People Down Instead Of Helping

Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan are two of the most renowned people in the pro-wrestling industry. They were the top stars of their generation.

Both have contributed significantly to the industry’s development and have been involved in their fair share of controversies.

While Hogan’s controversies usually revolved around what he said or did, The Hitman’s biggest one while being a part of WWE is the ‘Montreal Screwjob’.

Bret Hart opened up about Hulk Hogan’s behaviour

During a Q&A session, The Hitman opened up about how The Hulkster did not help build the next star. He would do his own thing and not bother coming back for anyone who was replacing him

I can tell you that Hulk Hogan never did that for anybody. He never helped anybody else after his time as the top guy. He’d rather see the company sink than actually come back and make the next star, which in wrestling, that’s how it is. The next guy helps the next guy. Jake Roberts is another guy who never made anybody. They fed Hulk Hogan one wrestler after another for ten years.

Hulk Hogan passed away on 24th July 2025. Before that, his last WWE appearance was when RAW debuted on Netflix in January 2025.
