Bray Wyatt made an interesting comment while reacting to yet another Undisputed WWE Universal Championship victory by Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns successfully defended the WWE & Universal Titles again this past Saturday at Elimination Chamber against Sami Zayn in Sami’s hometown of Montreal. It wasn’t a clean win, but what matter is that Reigns continues his incredible championship run.

If you go back over 900 days to when Reigns won the Undisputed WWE Championship at Payback 2020, Bray Wyatt was the Universal Champion as The Fiend.

The main event of WWE Payback 2020 was a Universal Championship No Holds Barred Match with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defending the championship against Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman.

For about ten minutes of that Universal Championship match, Bray Wyatt (in his outfit as The Fiend) and Braun Strowman beat the hell out of eachother all around the Thunderdome. They even did a spot where the ring exploded after The Fiend gave Strowman a superplex.

After the ring was broken, that’s when Roman Reigns signed a contract to officially be part of the match. From our TJR review of the match.

“The music of Roman Reigns hit as he walked down to the ring with Paul Heyman by his side. Reigns signed the contract that Heyman had in his hands. Reigns covered Fiend, a new referee Dan Engler went to the ring and Reigns got multiple nearfalls on both guys. Reigns beat on Strowman with repeated chairshots to the back for a two count.”

“The Fiend popped back up with the Mandible Claw on Reigns, but then Roman kicked him in the groin to break free. Wyatt bumped out of the ring because it was not balanced. Reigns hit a Spear on Strowman and that led to the pinfall win at 12:41. Reigns worked the whole match with his ‘Wreck Everyone & Leave’ t-shirt on.”

On Twitter, Bray Wyatt reacted to a tweet from the WWE on BT Sport account that listed all of Roman’s successful title defenses over the last 900+ days.

“Yeah but HOW did he win it?”

It’s an interesting question posted by Bray Wyatt because Reigns won the Undisputed Title that night after Wyatt and Strowman beat eachother up for ten mintues and broke the ring. Plus, Reigns didn’t even join the match until it had already started.

Roman Reigns will go on to WrestleMania 39 in the main event likely on April 2nd to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship (the WWE & Universal Titles) against Cody Rhodes, who won the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match.

As for Bray Wyatt, his WrestleMania 39 match isn’t official right now although he did say on Smackdown that he wanted to face the Brock Lesnar-Bobby Lashley winner. That was Lashley by disqualification. Watch WWE TV this week to find out more about what happens with Wyat on the road to WrestleMania this year.
