Bray Wyatt References The Fiend During Crown Jewel Promo
Bray Wyatt would be present for WWE’s Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, with “The Eater of Worlds” once again addressing demons, and during so, the mysterious Uncle Howdy would make another appearance, again confronting Wyatt.
But a couple of things were different this time at Crown Jewel: 1. While speaking, Bray Wyatt would talk about both his famous Rotunda wrestling family, as well as once being “The Fiend.” 2. Instead of disappearing into the darkness, Wyatt was seen looking back at Uncle Howdy, the first time the two have confronted each other.
After coming out doing his iconic lantern entrance, Wyatt would again introduce himself as he stood in a dark arena and fireflies (people’s phone flashlights) all around him, eventually opening up about his wrestling family, the Rotundas.
Wyatt is the son of Mike Rotunda, also known as Mr. Wallstreet and a member of the New World Order (NWO) during his time in WCW. He’s also the grandson of Blackjack Mulligan, as well as the nephew of both Kendall and Barry Windham. His brother Taylor, known as Bo Dallas in the ring, has also had experienced success in World Wrestling Entertainment.
Bray Wyatt would explain that he felt pressure to be the greatest in his family, which forced him to create “The Fiend” character and that it ended up destroying him. That’s when Uncle Howdy would make his appearance to interrupt Wyatt once again.
