Bray Wyatt – “I’ll See You All Very Soon”

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt has set tongues wagging after giving some hints about his future plans following his surprising release from his WWE contract.

Wyatt was perhaps the most surprising name cut from WWE as they slashed their rosters across the board with budget cuts reportedly to blame. The former WWE Champion suffered his own release on the 31st of July, bringing an end to a twelve-year association between Wyatt and the company.

Recently in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said that should Wyatt go to AEW, there has been talk of him making his debut sooner rather than later. The report noted that the former WWE Superstar could appear at the September 29th edition of Dynamite held in Rochester, New York. The hometown of his late friend and Wyatt Family partner Brodie Lee.

“As far as Windham Rotunda, the former Bray Wyatt, it appears it’ll be there [IMPACT] or AEW. If it is AEW, the talk is that it would be on the 9/29 Dynamite in Rochester, NY, which is Brodie Lee’s home city. If not there or soon after, it would likely be here.”

The AEW talk has gathered pace in recent weeks since the recent debuts of former WWE Superstars Ruby Soho, CM Punk, Adam Cole, and Bryan Danielson in the company.

Wyatt has been relatively quiet until now but taking to social media he responded to some fans who are keen to see the star compete once again:

“Everything will be clear. I’ll see you all very soon. Revenge is a confession of pain.”

“You’ve NEVER seen the real me”

Bray Wyatt competed in his last match in WWE at WrestleMania 37 where he wrestled The Fiend for the final time. In the opening bout of Night 2 of WrestleMania, Wyatt fell to defeat at the hands of Randy Orton following a surprising distraction by Wyatt’s ally Alexa Bliss. The following night on RAW, Bray Wyatt hosted his final Firefly Funhouse segment and this was the last time the character was seen on WWE television.
