Bray Wyatt Makes Emotional Address On SmackDown

Bray Wyatt stunned the wrestling world when he returned to WWE at Extreme Rules and now The Eater of Worlds has addressed his comeback on SmackDown.

Following Matt Riddle’s win over Seth Rollins in the Fight Pit match at Extreme Rules, the lights went out while Michael Cole asked aloud if the show was still on the air. Fans had been expecting a Wyatt return but when ‘He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands’ rang out throughout the arena, there was no doubt anymore, the former WWE Champion was back.

Bursting through a door at the entranceway, Bray Wyatt declared “I’m here” before blowing out his lantern to end the show. On Raw, it was announced that Wyatt was to be on SmackDown and he appeared in a way few had probably expected.

Not hiding behind a mask or character, a visibly emotional Bray Wyatt bared his soul to the SmackDown crowd in New Orleans. Wyatt told fans that the man he was presenting to them was the real Wyatt and that he was grateful and nervous having never expected to be back in a WWE ring.

Wyatt thanked fans and said that they saved his life before the games began. A video on the screen that featured the mask Wyatt wore at Extreme Rules cut Bray Wyatt off with an ominous voice giving some sort of warning before the show went off the air.
