Braun Strowman Provides Update Following Neck Surgery
Braun Strowman has provided an update following a major surgery that will keep the big man out of action for an extended period of time.
The last match that former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman had on television was on the May 1st episode of Raw. In that match, Strowman and tag team partner Ricochet beat Alpha Academy in tag team match. Unfortunately for Braun, it will likely be his last match this year.
On Instagram, where Strowman uses his real name AdamScherr99, Braun provided this health update while noting he underwent major neck surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. There’s also a video of the surgery.
“Road to recovery starts now!!!! Level one #fusion on my c4/c5 #vertebrae was in the great hands of #DrCordover at @andrews_sports_medicine was a great experience considering. Thank you to @wwe for always taking the up most care of us.
This was very scary to find out about having to have done and they were there every step of the way reassuring that I was going to have the best care possible. This will take a little bit of time to heal from. But I assure you ( in the words of the #Terminator ) I’ll be back!!!! Thank you all in advance for the well wishes.
Much Love
Adam Scherr”
Braun Strowman has been part of WWE for the better part of the last ten years. He was signed in 2013, took a few years to make the main roster and became a main event performer from 2017 until he was released in 2021. Strowman returned to WWE in September 2022 after WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H took over the creative from Vince McMahon in July 2022.
During his WWE career, Strowman has won the Universal Title, Intercontinental Title, Raw Tag Team Titles (twice) and won the Greatest Royal Rumble match in 2018.
Everybody on TJRWrestling wishes Braun Strowman all the best as he recovers from neck surgery. It’s a reminder of the dangers that pro wrestlers endure to entertain us. Best wishes to Braun.
