Braun Strowman Moves Brands In Shock WWE Return

Braun Strowman WWE

The WWE transfer window is open and Braun Strowman has made the most of it as he made his surprise return to the ring.

Back in September, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made a ‘last monster standing’ match between Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman after weeks of brawling between the two gargantuan stars.

It wasn’t long before tables and chairs came into play as Strowman and Reed went to war. At one point after some fans were taken out when the barricade was crashed through, Reed put his hands on Adam Pearce and as security tried to split that up, Braun Strowman laid out everyone with a huge dive.

Strowman went to the top rope but was clocked with a chair by Reed who then delivered a huge superplex which led to the ring posts exploding and the ring collapsing – although perhaps not as much as when the spot has been done previously. As Bronson Reed was making his way to his feet, Seth Rollins made his shock return to Stomp the man that put him out of action which allowed Braun Strowman to win the bout.

But that win came at a cost. Braun Strowman revealed he tore his groin putting him out of action for several weeks. But on the 13th of December edition of SmackDown, The Monster of All Monsters was back.

Braun Strowman Now SmackDown’s Monster

WWE opened a transfer window ahead of Raw’s debut on Netflix meaning stars can move brands as the company looks to reshuffle ahead of the huge move to the streaming giant.

Braun Strowman took advantage of that as he appeared on SmackDown as Carmelo Hayes’ surprise opponent. Strowman defeated Hayes in 91 seconds. It was noted during the bout that Strowman is the newest member of the SmackDown roster meaning he’ll be sticking with the blue brand on the USA Network.
