Braun Strowman has some very high expectations for his upcoming showdown at WWE Crown Jewel because he’s comparing the match to one of the biggest wrestling matches ever.

It’s going to be a battle between two of the biggest men in WWE when Braun Strowman meets Omos for the first time at Crown Jewel this Saturday, November 5th. Omos is the tallest man at 7’3″ tall while Strowman stands at around 6’8″ and over 300 pounds. It’s a colossal matchup that plenty of WWE fans will be interested in.

Strowman made an interesting post on his Instagram where he compared his match with Omos to the massive showdown between WWE Champion Hulk Hogan and challenger Andre The Giant from WrestleMania 3 in 1987. Going into the match, Hogan was friends with Andre until Bobby Heenan convinced Andre to go for the WWE Title, which led to Andre turning heel. When they had the match, Hogan found a way to hit a very memorable body slam and a leg drop to defeat the unbeatable giant. It is considered by many wrestling fans to be one of the most memorable matches ever, if not the most memorable of them all.

Here’s what Strowman wrote on Instagram.

“A fight fit for literal kings!! There’s has never been a monumental event like this in history idk ever. The only thing that can compare is Hogan vs Andre. That is a match that has been and will be talked about till time decides to stand still. But the time for me now to carve my name in history is upon me. Time to make a moment that will stand the ties of time and when I’m am old f**k and broken. I can look back and say you see kids.”

“This is where I changed our family our history and the way the whole f**king world looks at us. Nothing in my life and any of my family’s life has come easy. Cause we know the sacrifices it takes to achieve greatness. Again when the your good at what you do being at what you do. Not one mother f***er can stop you.”

Whether it’s as big as Strowman thinks it will be is up for debate, but the Monster of All Monsters is clearly ready for his showdown with Omos at Crown Jewel this Saturday.
