WWE crowned a new champion in a historic event.
In a milestone moment for WWE’s Evolve brand, Kali Armstrong emerged victorious to become the inaugural Evolve Women’s Champion.
Armstrong’s historic win took place during this week’s Evolve event, where she competed in a high-stakes four-way elimination match against Wendy Choo, Kendal Grey, and Kylie Rae. The match saw Rae dominantly eliminate both Choo and Grey, setting the stage for a final showdown with Armstrong. WWE Has Evolution 2 In The Works
Evolution was an all-women featured show by WWE. It was held in October 2018. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch headlined the event seven years ago. The two Superstars clashed in a 30 minute Last Woman Standing Match for the Women’s SmackDown Championship with Lynch coming out victorious.
This year, the Stamford-based company announced that the second edition of Evolution will take place on July 13 in Atlanta, Georgia. While the card isn’t finalized yet, rumors suggest that Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair will main event the show in a first-time ever clash.
