Boy Meets World Star Wants Put Through A Table
Worlds collided in the nineties when WWE met Boy Meets World for several episodes and that relationship has clearly rubbed off on one star of the show.
Boy Meets World centred on high schoolers Cory, Topanga, and Shawn as they navigate life, relationships, family, and friendships all supported by their esteemed teacher Mr. Feeney.
For several episodes, WWE was featured with WWE Hall of Famer Vader (Leon White) portraying the father of Cory and Shawn’s high school bully-turned-friend. During those episodes, Vader was seen mixing it up with Jake Roberts and Mick Foley as the protagonists cheered on from ringside.
Boy Meets World Star Wants Girl Meets Table
Speaking on the Pod Meets World podcast, Danielle Fishel – who played Topanga – confessed to WWE executive Bruce Prichard who was vital in making the partnership work that she would love to be slammed through a table one day:
Everyone would assume I’m gonna be a babyface so you gotta send me in as a heel. I do have a real – it’s kind of a secret goal. But at some point in my life, I want to be put through a table. I mean in a wrestling ring.
He might not know why, but somewhere, a chill just ran up Bubba Ray Dudley’s spine and he no doubt felt the urge to give one instruction to his brother D-Von.
