Booker T Wants To See Surprising TNA Star In WWE

Booker T

Booker T wants to see a former TNA World Champion in WWE.

On January 16th, WWE officially announced a multi-year partnership with TNA Wrestling. As noted in the press release, the agreement is “aimed at creating unprecedented crossover opportunities within WWE and TNA programming for NXT Superstars and TNA Wrestling Stars.”

The two companies worked together extensively in 2024 with several TNA wrestlers, including Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace appearing regularly in NXT. While Arianna Grace, Karmen Petrovic, Dante Chen, Wolfgang, and more went in the opposite direction.

Booker T Throws Weight Behind TNA Star

On a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, NXT announcer Booker T gave his thoughts on the relationship between WWE and TNA. The veteran said he was excited about a number of potential matches now on the horizon, including a showdown between Moose and NXT Champion Oba Femi.

“It’s a great matchup, man. It definitely sells the house. I don’t care where we go. That match is definitely going to sell the house. And that’s what I say for me. I think I’m going to love this relationship more than anything.

Being able to see guys because I got so much praise from Moose. He’s come to Reality Of Wrestling so many times. He’s always been so easy to work with. I want to see a guy like Moose actually get a chance to get that shot.

And there again, like I said, so many more in TNA that deserve that shot, but if there is one person that really deserves a shot on a WWE stage under bright lights, that’s Moose. Give Moose a shot.”

Meanwhile, Jordynne Grace has revealed why she asked for her TNA contract to be cut, allowing her to leave the company earlier than planned. The star became a free agent in early January and it’s been reported she’s since signed with WWE and has already been working out at the Performance Center.

There’s no word on when Grace will make her official WWE debut, with many fans suspecting she’ll appear at the Royal Rumble on February 1st.
