Booker T – “If I Had To Manage One Person, It’d Be Bobby Lashley”
Two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T isn’t known for being a manager but he has picked the one star he’d have loved to walk to the ring.
Discussing the matter on his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T mentioned the one man he’d have no problem seconding for, the former WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley.
“If I had to manage one person, it would be Bobby (Lashley). It would be Bobby. Not want to step on the toes of MVP or anything like that. Bobby – I think I have certain special qualities that I could bring to the game, especially the suit game – my suit game is much more on top than MVP but I ain’t trying to throw no shade on MVP. I think Bobby would’ve been a guy I would’ve loved to stood next to, just because of the history Bobby and I have as well. A guy who actually, physically sat under the learning tree and get the hell beat out of. So, yeah, that would have been the guy.”
Bobby Lashley could have used the assistance of Booker T on RAW following Big E’s decision to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase after Lashley had already defended the WWE Title against Randy Orton.
In the advertised main event Lashley defended the title against Randy Orton, managing to overcome one-half of the RAW Tag Team Champions to retain. Any satisfaction Bobby Lashley could take from that win was short-lived as Big E proved true to his word and cashed in the briefcase. A short match followed with a Big Ending proving decisive as Big E claimed his first WWE Championship.
Bobby Lashley has been managed by MVP since May 2020, together the duo formed The Hurt Business with Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin before Lashley turned on the pair earlier this year.
