Booker T Reacts To Fan Posting Video Of Him Ordering Food During NXT

While sitting at the commentary during NXT TV, Booker T ordered food near the end of the show, which led to a funny reaction from the Hall of Famer.

Since last October, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has been part of the NXT commentary with Vic Joseph. Fans often hear his “shucky ducky quack quack” phrases and many other things while reacting to the action in the ring.

Clearly, Booker T loves the NXT commentary job since he recently said he was “living his best life” doing commentary on the show even though he recently was knocked over by some wrestlers during a match.

During this week’s NXT broadcast that ended with an Indi Hartwell promo giving up the NXT Women’s Title, which led to a brawl among the women’s division, Booker T was actually ordering food on Door Dash for after the show. We know this because a fan recorded it and posted it on social media. While Indi was doing her promo, the camera was on her and not Booker T, so it was not shown on camera.

On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T first talked about having a busy travel schedule before Tuesday’s NXT broadcast in Orlando.

“Let me lay it out for you. I left Houston. Went to London. Took a trip from London to Manchester, you know, bing, bing, bing, a couple of days I went from Manchester to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Houston, Houston to Dallas, Dallas to Orlando, Orlando to Houston, and boom, here I am ready to do the show.”

Regarding the food order, Booker T gave an explanation for what happened.

“It was the end of the show. The show was over. It had nothing to do with me (he laughs). I was gonna be exiting the building shortly after that. I wanted my meal hot and ready to go when I got there” (he continued to laugh).

As for what he ordered? Booker shared that too: “Chicken parmesan from (TGI) Fridays.”

Indi Hartwell was carried out of the ring and NXT by Dexter Lumis, who is part of Raw just like she is.

“Good for Indi Hartwell. I made sure I got the last note that I had to say which was, β€˜When a man loves a woman. It’s a beautiful thing.’ That’s all I needed to say in that segment. The camera wasn’t on me. But I get it. You have to watch yourself at all times.”

When asked if he was mad that a fan recorded his food order, Booker admitted that he was a little bit, but it’s also on him being more aware.

“A little bit, you know, but that’s on me. I gotta be on my P’s and Q’s, but no doubt I was trying to make sure I get my meal ready and hot because I’m gonna be out of there, bro. I had a long day. You know how long it had been since I had American food. That right there in itself should give me the right to do what the hell I wanted to do at that moment in time.” (He said this in a joking manner).

Everybody at TJRWrestling wishes Booker T enjoyed that chicken parm.
