Booker T Dubs WWE Star “The Female Miz”
Booker T has named the WWE star he thinks is a great example to up-and-coming wrestlers.
Although her initial WWE run from 2018 to 2021 was full of more stops than starts, Chelsea Green has become an integral part of the women’s division since returning to the company at the 2023 Royal Rumble.
The old wrestling adage about the need to “maximise your minutes” seems to be something Green has taken to heart, and she’s become incredibly popular with fans as a result. Aside from her work in the ring, Green has developed an ability to make just about anything work, even if that’s just a 20-second skit backstage.
Booker T Talks Up Chelsea Green
During an episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed Green’s approach and why it’s so important. The veteran explained that it’s not so much about coming up with ideas backstage, success can be found by making whatever a performer is given memorable.
In relation to Green, Booker said this has made the star someone WWE knows they can count on, adding that everyone can learn from the former Women’s Tag Team Champion.
“She’s like The Miz, a female version. She’s all about getting the script, and going out there and enhancing the script and that’s what I talk about all of the time with these young guys,” the legend said about the wrestlers at his school, Reality of Wrestling.
“Don’t give me the idea, take the idea, take the script, and enhance it. That’s how you become the one that they know they can count on in any situation. But if you go about talking about what you got, you can tick somebody off and end up getting fired. Honestly, Chelsea Green, everybody can take notes from Chelsea Green.”
On the November 8th edition of SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis announced the creation of the Women’s United States Title. Since the announcement, Green has emerged as a favorite among fans to win the gold.
