Booker T likes what he sees with a new WWE faction.
Ever since the group split up, WWE fans have been clamouring to see The Hurt Business return but now it looks like Bobby Lashley has a new group in the works.
On the 4th of August edition of SmackDown, the match between The Brawling Brutes and The OC went to a no contest when the Street Profits rushed the ring and took out both teams. Dressed in sharp suits, the former Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champions were joined on the stage by Bobby Lashley who looked pleased with the statement they made.
What did Booker T think of Bobby Lashley’s new alliance?
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T explained why he’s such a big fan of this new team and says it’s time for the Street Profits to show up and show out:
“I think it’s good, man. I think the Street Profits need that switch. Coming out and dressing like they’re playing basketball, those days are over with. You gotta up your gear, man, up your game. Up your gear, up your game.
“Hanging out with Bobby, now you rolling with a high roller, dog. You got [hottie biscotti] running around. You gotta know how to play to part. So yeah, I’m liking everything about what’s on going on with Tez and Dawk, most definitely. I ran into Montez at SummerSlam, and him and I had a little talk, little talk about something that him and I talked about just a few months back. So now it’s time to turn it up and turn it on.”
It remains to be seen what is in store for Lashley and the Street Profits but if the group is half as successful or as popular as The Hurt Business, they’ll still be a force to be reckoned with on Friday nights.
