Bodhi Hayward “Hurt” & “Embarrassed” Following WWE NXT Release

Bodhi Hayward

Former NXT Superstar Bodhi Hayward posted an emotional message on social media following his release from WWE.

On November 1st, it was reported that five talents had been released from NXT, the first mass-culling since April 29th, which saw the likes of Dakota Kai, Dexter Lumis, and Persia Pirotta released from the company. Lumis and Kai have since returned to WWE under its new regime to play integral parts on Monday Night Raw.

Among the names released this week was Bodhi Hayward, who’s been regularly featured on WWE NXT television as a part of Andre Chase’s Chase University. On the latest episode, his storyline roommate Thea Hail called attention to his absence, wondering who would carry the Chase U flag with him gone – but Duke Hudson stepped in to carry the flag in Hayward’s stead after writing him off television last week.

Following the news of his WWE release, the former Bodhi Hayward – who now goes by the name Brady Booker – took to social media with a heartfelt message, saying that while he was hurt and embarrassed by his release, he will always find a way to overcome adversity.

“What up Brodies, it’s your boy Bodhi Hayward… Brady Booker here to tell you that I was just released from the WWE. I’m hurt, I’m embarrassed, and Brodies I’m just down bad. For the last 18 months, Andre Chase University and wrestling has been my whole life. But I am no stranger to adversity. Adversity is something that has come up my whole life, and I’ve always found a way to get on top. I will do it again. I’m Brady Booker, and I’m here to stay.”
