Bobby Lashley’s First AEW Match Made For Full Gear

Bobby Lashley AEW

Bobby Lashley now knows when his first match in AEW will take place as The Hurt Syndicate answered a huge challenge on Dynamite.

At Dynamite Grand Slam, MVP made his AEW debut following weeks of ever-increasing speculation. The star was quickly joined on-screen by Shelton Benjamin and plans to reinvent the Hurt Business were well underway as they set their sights on luring Swerve Strickland away from Prince Nana.

Strickland rebuffed MVP’s advances to stick by Nana leading to a match at Fright Night Dynamite between the former AEW World Champion and Benjamin.

Swerve Strickland handed Shelton Benjamin his first defeat in AEW but MVP’s full plans soon became clear as he put a call into someone before the arena was bathed in darkness. As unfamiliar music hit, Bobby Lashley entered the arena making his first appearance in AEW. Lashley confronted Strickland before Benjamin attacked his opponent allowing them to double-team Strickland while MVP laid out Prince Nana.

Swerve Strickland Wants Bobby Lashley

Now The Hurt Syndicate have opened the 6th of November edition of Dynamite with MVP delivering a message to the AEW locker room. MVP told them that receiving The Hurt Syndicate’s business card could change their lives but if they reject it then there will be consequences as he showed the footage of the beatdown on Strickland.

That led to Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana attempting to confront The Hurt Syndicate but referees stopped them from getting to the ring. Strickland issued a challenge to meet Lashley for Full Gear which MVP accepted.

Bobby Lashley’s last match took place in May 2024 when he was still part of WWE when he defeated Santos Escobar at a live event.
