Bobby Lashley & Street Profits Group May Add Former WWE NXT Star
A new report suggests that Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits may be getting some help for their group on WWE SmackDown.
For the past three months on the WWE Smackdown brand, former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has been aligned with former WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins).
The fun-loving Street Profits have adopted a more serious attitude under the guidance of Lashley, who is trying to teach the two men to be more ruthless.
At Fastlane in Indianapolis, Lashley and The Street Profits teamed together in a six-man tag for the first time since becoming an official group. Unfortunately for them, the LWO’s Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar had a returning Carlito on their side, which led to the LWO winning the match as Carlito beat Ford with Backstabber.
Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits may be adding a big man to the group
The trio of Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits could have somebody else joining the group according to a report from Fightful Select, who reports that former NXT star Odyssey Jones has been discussed recently as somebody that could potentially join the group.
Jones is one of the biggest men in WWE and would easily stand out standing next to Lashley and The Street Profits. Jones hasn’t wrestled since WWE’s India Superstar Spectacle event from last night.
Earlier this year, WWE announced that Odyssey Jones was drafted to the Raw brand. However, they didn’t use him on television. Jones has wrestled in numerous dark matches on the Smackdown brand over the last few months.
During his WWE NXT career, Odyssey Jones wrestled mostly as a babyface who was liked by the crowd. However, he was never pushed heavily by the brand.
