Bobby Lashley Ready To Sign Deal After WWE Exit
Bobby Lashley has teased his next move in the wrestling world could be imminent as speculation about a debut in AEW continues to mount.
Bobby Lashley’s departure from WWE was confirmed on August 16th, after the star had already announced he’d be making his boxing debut against an unnamed opponent in the coming months. However, he quickly added that this didn’t mean his wrestling career was over and it seems he’s inching closer to revealing where his future in the ring lies.
Speaking at a virtual signing at K&S WrestleFest, Bobby Lashley gave some insight into his future as he claimed to have a lot of offers:
I have a few wrestling offers on the table. I have a few boxing matches, MMA matches, a lot of stuff on the table.
Lashley then discussed a possible return to TNA and a potential feud with TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth but it seems he’s also keeping up with what’s happening in AEW:
A feud with Nic would actually be pretty cool. I know he’s running the show over there. I also talk with Moose, he’s a good friend of mine. Phenomenal wrestler. That’s a feud I really haven’t been able to jump into. I see Lio over at AEW with MVP and Shelton. That’s also a good opportunity.
Bobby Lashley Working Back To Full Health
Bobby Lashley noted that he’s been recovering from injury over the last few months but says fans won’t have to wait long to find out his next move as it’s time to sign on the dotted line:
I have a lot more left in the tank. I can’t wait to jump back out there. I had a little boo boo, so I took time to fix myself. I’m feeling good right now. I’ve been working out hard. I think the next few weeks we should see something, something pop off. It’s time to put pen to paper and give back to these fans.
Lashley’s old Hurt Business partner Shelton Benjamin will clash with Swerve Strickland on Fright Night Dynamite on the 30th of October. Should the former WWE Champion make his decision before then, it could turn out to be a very scary night for Strickland indeed.
