Bobby Lashley Has “No Idea” If Bray Wyatt Match Is Happening

Bobby Lashley looks at Bray Wyatt on big screen

Bray Wyatt set his sights on the winner of Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley’s match at Elimination Chamber to face at WrestleMania 39 but now not even Lashley knows if the match is happening or not.

The planned match with Bobby Lashley received some build when a Bray Wyatt video played while Lashley was in the arena but the former Fiend was pulled off live events in recent weeks and things appear to have gone quiet on the planned bout amid reports that Wyatt could be suffering from illness.

Now speaking to Denise Salcedo, Bobby Lashley has discussed his WrestleMania plans as they are at present after he was announced for the Andre The Giant Battle Royal which will take place on SmackDown:

“Right now, we’re trying to figure out what I’m going to do, being the All Mighty former WWE Champion and everything like that, still in search of finding that big matchup.

“That’s what everybody wants to do when they go to WrestleMania, they want to have a big iconic matchup in front of hundreds of thousands of fans and do what we love.

“Right now, I’m kind of half and half, getting ready for it and preparing for that day. I have a big match on Friday night, hopefully, that trickles over and causes something big for Saturday or Sunday.”

There had been suggestions made that the Battle Royal could set up an angle between Bobby Lashley and LA Knight for WrestleMania but nothing has been confirmed to this end. As far as the potential Bray Wyatt match goes, Lashley added that he has “no idea” if it’s happening or not.
