Bobby Eaton is one of the best to ever step in a ring. I wish I could’ve had the chance to work with him. To listen to him more. To learn from him. To let him know how much we all appreciate him and the sacrifices he gave us. RIP Bobby. One of the good ones.

Bobby Eaton began his wrestling career, wrestling for both NWA Mid-America before moving onto the Continental Wrestling Association based out of Memphis, Tennessee.
In 1983 Bobby Eaton joined Mid South Wrestling where he immediately joined a new iteration of The Midnight Express managed by Jom Cornette. ‘Beautiful’ Bobby and ‘Lover Boy’ Dennis captured the Mid South Tag Team Championship and it was here that The Midnights began their legendary rivalry with The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express.
Two years after joining Mid South, Eaton, Condrey, and Cornette signed with Jim Crockett Promotions where they continued their feud with The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express. Early in 1986, The Midnight Express captured their first NWA World Tag Team Championship – the first of three reigns of Bobby Eaton’s career and his only one with Condrey.
After Condrey left the promotion Bobby Eaton was joined by ‘Sweet’ Stan Lane as The Midnights continued to achieve success in the tag team division. During this run, Eaton and Lane went up against a team calling themselves ‘The Original Midnight Express’ comprised of Condrey and Randy Rose under the leadership of Paul E. Dangerously. In 1990 The Midnight Express came to an end with Eaton remaining the sole member in what now had become World Championship Wrestling.
During his time in WCW Eaton joined Dangerously in the Dangerous Alliance where he won another tag team title with Arn Anderson. Although Bobby Eaton never hit his previous heights he remained with World Championship Wrestling until the year 2000.
All at TJR Wrestling send their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Eaton at this sad time.
