Bloodline Member’s Official WWE Debut Delayed Again Due To Injury
One member of the Bloodline is signed to WWE but still hasn’t appeared, and it seems they’ve had no luck at all with injury.
The Bloodline group in WWE dates back years at this point, when Roman Reigns took on the role of the Tribal Chief and welcomed in The Usos and Solo Sikoa to his group. In reality, any idea of the family bloodline in WWE dates back decades to Reigns’ father and uncle, Afa and Sika of The Wild Samoans, bringing their own brand of mayhem to the company.
However, there is another member of the heralded Anoa’i family signed to WWE who has yet to make an appearance and for good reason.
Injury Keeping Bloodline Member From Making WWE Debut
In a Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp explained the delay in Lance Anoa’i making his debut in WWE. Sapp noted that Anoa’i had been injured shortly after he was signed by WWE in 2024, with the expectation being that he’d be out for much of 2025. However, it was noted that Anoa’i suffered another injury after that and was still hurt as of this summer.
However, it might not just be injury that’s hampering Anoa’i in WWE. Back in the spring of 2025, Dave Meltzer noted that there was some concern that the star might not make it in the company:
Lance Anoa’i is there. There has been criticism of Lance Anoa’i that he may not make it. I have heard nothing negative about Hikuleo. You would think that him being there for all this time and not being used is like they must be disappointed but I have not heard that at all.
Lance Anoa’i is the grandson of Afa and the son of former WWE star Samu. Prior to signing with WWE, he was best known for his time in MLW, where he held the MLW Tag Team Championship as one half of the Samoan Swat Team.
