Real-life Bloodline member, Lance Anoa’i, was released from WWE in October 2025.

He joined the company around the same time as Hikuleo, and both worked in WWE’s Performance Center.

However, he did not make it to the main roster and was let go while Hikuleo was called up, and he joined the MFTs.

Lance Anoa’i gives an insight into his WWE release

While speaking to MuscleMan Malcolm, Lance Anoa’i revealed that injuries cost him quite a bit of what he could have achieved in WWE, especially since it was costing the company more.

I had another two years on my contract. I forget the day I found out because from that moment on, it was back to the grind. I was blessed to be there, I was happy to be there, I learned a lot. Unfortunately, injuries weren’t on my side, so it killed me. Do I think it was a missed opportunity at WWE? Yeah, I do. I also think it was a blessing.

The injuries are what cost me everything. It cost the company more money than what I was making them. I was one of the older ones there. First, I had a sports hernia in my first week at the PC. I got hurt in the Performance Center. It was something real dumb and maybe it was God telling me, ‘Maybe not yet.’ Got cleared for three weeks, and then tore my shoulder right after that. Got cleared end of September, released in October. There was no criticism. Everyone was rooting for me to come back and be ready. Unfortunately, things happen.
