Blake Monroe Breaks Silence After Winning First WWE Title

Blake Monroe faced Zaria for the NXT Women’s North American Championship at Halloween Havoc on Sunday, October 25.

Sol Ruca was sidelined with a left knee injury that forced her out of active competition right before Halloween Havoc 2025. She suffered the injury during a tag team match with Zaria against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women’s World Championship. Instead of vacating the championship, Ruca agreed to let her close friend Zaria step in and defend the gold against Monroe.

Blake Monroe Pinned Zaria To Become The New NXT Women’s North American Champion

At Halloween Havoc, Blake Monroe relentlessly targeted Zaria’s left arm and shoulder with a series of aggressive attacks. Throughout the match, Zaria fought back with moves like suplexes and spears, but struggled to keep momentum because of her left arm injury. Ruca tried to help from ringside, even shoving Zaria into the ring post to pop her shoulder in place.

But Blake pressed her advantage, using everything from arm bars to a Glamour Shot DDT, smashing Zaria’s body on the floor and in the ring as the match wore on. The referee checked on Zaria after a brutal shoulder-first collision with steel steps, but she continued despite the pain.

With the odds stacked, Zaria still rallied, but a final Glamour Shot DDT by Blake sealed the deal. Blake Monroe won the pinfall after an almost 11-minute battle, becoming the new NXT Women’s North American Champion. This victory marked her first title win in WWE. Following her victory at Halloween Havoc, Monroe logged into her Twitter account to share a picture of herself holding her newly won title.

She captioned the post, “you never forget your first @WWE”
