This will be taking place at a WWE live event in Shanghai, China at Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena. Wang will be facing former NXT Champion Bo Dallas in a one-on-one bout.

Wang said the following to WWE.com about his much anticipated debut.

“It will be a great honor to make my WWE debut in my home nation. I recognize I am not only representing myself, but everyone in China, and I am committed to making them proud as I continue on the journey to become the first-ever Chinese WWE Superstar.”

Wang

Mark’s reaction: Wang is 22 years old, 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds. Since the announcement of his signing two months ago, Wang has been training at WWE’s Performance Center. WWE’s official YouTube channel has also been releasing videos of Wang’s progress since first attending the Performance Center. WWE is definitely making every effort to ensure Wang’s success. Wang being WWE’s first ever Chinese recruit is a big deal for WWE, so they want to be really careful when it comes to handling him. Hopefully it all works out.
