Change is coming for WWE fans.
It was reported by Metro on December 28th that NXT will leave TNT Sports in the UK at the end of 2023. The show began airing on BT Sports in January 2020 after initially being shown on the WWE Network.
The show remained with BT when it was rebranded as TNT Sports, but that agreement has now come to an end.
Starting on January 3rd for New Year’s Evil the show will now return to the WWE Network. The move won’t affect Raw or SmackDown which will continue to air in their regular time slots on Monday and Friday respectively.
Following the report, this email shown below was sent to a number of fans.
“We wanted to notify you that you will be able to watch NXT weekly programming LIVE on WWE Network exclusively in your area beginning 3 January 2024 at 1:00am GMT with NXT’s New Year’s Evil show! Beginning next week, you can catch all of your favorite NXT Superstars live only on WWE Network. If you are not yet subscribed, please click here to sign up.”

The news comes after NXT entered into a huge partnership with All-Japan Pro Wrestling. As part of the deal, NXT will send a Superstar to AJPW on January 3rd.
It was then announced by William Regal that his son Charlie Dempsey would be the young hopeful heading to Japan.
