Big Update On TNA’s New Media Rights Deal

Carlos Silva TNA

It seems a new media rights deal for TNA could be closer than many people thought.

Anthem Sports Group president Carlos Silva suggested earlier in 2025 that he and TNA were looking to air live each week. The promotion currently tapes editions of Impact in advance before they air each Thursday. Silva noted that this would be possible thanks to a new media rights deal, which would give the promotion the shot in the arm many feel it needs.

However, Carlos Silva also noted in July that he believed TNA could be in a 60 or 90-day window to sign a new deal, but that has come and gone without any agreement reached.

But it might not be too far away.

TNA Rights Deal Expected In 2025

Jon Alba of The Takedown on SI.com has reported that, according to “high-ranking television industry sources”, there is an expectation that TNA will announce a new media rights deal by the end of 2025 at the latest. TNA sources noted that there were currently no further updates on any deal being reached.

Carlos Silva has previously indicated that he believes the average annual value for TNA’s media rights to be in the region of $7 million to $10 million. A significantly lower number than AEW signed its latest TV rights deal for despite Chris Jericho’s assertion that TNA recently looked like the 2nd biggest promotion in the world.
