Big Easter Egg Teasing The Elite’s AEW Return Spotted
The countdown to Full Gear is well and truly on and it looks like The Elite’s return for the event has been teased once again by AEW.
The Elite trio of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were suspended by AEW and stripped of their AEW Trios Championship for their part in the alleged backstage fight that took place at All Out. Reports suggest The Buck confronted CM Punk after Punk lambasted several people – including them – at the post-show media scrum.
The Elite are reported to have since returned to their backstage roles as EVPs in the company and their return to television has been teased for several weeks now with the group appearing in vignettes.
Now an eagle-eyed fan on social media has apparently spotted an easter egg touting the group’s return in the graphic for the Count Down to Full Gear that will air on AEW’s YouTube channel. The Young Bucks can apparently be seen in the graphic, lurking far in the distance behind Chris Jericho’s shoulder.

The Elite will only have two more chances to return to AEW television before Full Gear with Dynamite in Bridgeport, CT., and Rampage in Newark, NJ. Dynamite will see the team that replaced The Elite as AEW Trios Champions in action as Death Triangle defends their gold against AR Fox and Top Flight.
