Big E wants more after a SmackDown match made headlines.

Ahead of WrestleMania 41, it was announced that the Street Profits would defend the Tag Team Championship against The Motor City Machine Guns and #DIY on the April 15 edition of SmackDown.

The announcement was met with surprise online as many fans couldn’t believe the match hadn’t been included on the WrestleMania card. Something that only continued after the final bell rang and the Street Profits retained their titles in a wild clash.

Bodies were sent flying everywhere, often through tables, as the six men made the main event of SmackDown their own. Immediately following the match, social media was flooded by comments from fans and fellow wrestlers praising the efforts of the three teams.

Big E Hopes TLC Match Is Just The Beginning

In a post on social media, Big E was quick to add his praise to the match and everyone involved, telling each man to take a bow. The former World Champion added that he hopes the impressive outing leads to bigger opportunities moving forward.

“Had to rewatch the TLC Tag Match from SmackDown this morning. Take a bow, gentlemen. We got a top tier, Mania caliber match. All 6 men should be immensely proud of their work. Hope this catapults them all to bigger opportunities. “

Elsewhere on SmackDown, Chelsea Green lost the Women’s United States Championship to Zelina Vega. In the very next segment, Vega’s real-life husband, Aleister Black, made his long-awaited return to the company, attacking The Miz.

Black has spent the last four years with AEW after being released by WWE in 2021.
