Big E Determined To Make Smart Decision On Future
Former WWE Champion Big E seems to be no closer to a return to the ring almost two years since he suffered a horrendous injury.
On the March 11, 2022 edition of SmackDown Ridge Holland attempted to give Big E an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the outside of the ring during a tag team match. Unfortunately, the move went wrong and Big E broke his neck after crashing down on top of his head.
Big E has since said he feels 100% and his neck is believed to have healed but doctors have told The New Day star never to wrestle again and his in-ring future remains in serious doubt.
Big E Wants To Make A Smart Decision On His Future
Speaking in a video posted by TMZ, Big E gave an update on his neck injury and says while it’s healing, he doesn’t want to return to the ring only to end up in a wheelchair:
It’s all together. The bones are connected to the other bones.
I just want to make a smart decision. I didn’t start wrestling to end up in a wheelchair. So I want to make sure I’m making the best decision for myself. I don’t have a timeline, unfortunately, so thank you for asking.
Big E recently revealed on social media that he will reunite with his New Day partners Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods on The Drew Barrymore Show.
