Big E Breaks Silence On New Day’s Saviour On WWE Raw
Former WWE Champion Big E has broken his silence after it seemed The New Day might have a brand new member on Raw.
On Raw in Baltimore, The New Day faced off with The Authors of Pain and it looked like Karrion Kross was going to prove decisive in that bout. Kross interfered which allowed AOP to take control but to the surprise of absolutely everyone, The New Day’s saviour appeared in the form of Odyssey Jones.
Jones took out Karrion Kross which provided enough of a distraction for The New Day to win the match. As AOP attacked Woods and Kingston after the bout, Odyssey Jones laid out both Akam and Rezar with a huge double sidewalk slam.
Backstage Kofi Kingston was excited as he celebrated with Jones but Xavier Woods remained unsure and noted he didn’t even know Kingston and Jones were friends. Kingston noted he had met at WWE’s Performance Center but a note of uncertainty continues to hang over the group.
Big E Has His Say On Odyssey Jones
Now The New Day’s third man, Big E, who has been forced out of action for well over two years after suffering a broken neck has had his say on the group’s possible new third man.
Big E took to social media and does not have the same reservations as Xavier Woods as he was thrilled for Odyssey Jones:
The big man looked phenomenal!!! A star is born! Odyssey made a lot of new fans tonight! #WWERaw

Odyssey Jones joined WWE in 2019 but didn’t have his first televised match until he defeated Grayson Waller in 2021 on a somewhat ironic episode of 205 Live. Jones missed most of WWE due to injury but following his return, he became a more regular member of the NXT roster.
Jones was part of the 2023 WWE Draft where he was moved to Raw but he didn’t appear on the red brand, wrestling dark matches on SmackDown instead. Odyssey Jones was again drafted to Raw in 2024 but this appearance was his debut on the show.
