Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has explained how her gear split “right down the middle” moments before her Crown Jewel title match.
At Crown Jewel Bianca Belair and Bayley made history when they became the first women to compete in a Last Woman Standing match in Saudi Arabia. The EST of WWE overcame her challenger and managed to hold on to her title for another day.
The multi-talented Belair is also known for making her own ring gear and with little time to get something together she had to make emergency repairs just moments before her Crown Jewel match as she explained on The MegaCast:
“I’m always scared, just because I do make it myself. I’m always paranoid, I’m always double-stitching everything. I didn’t have time to make my gear because I wasn’t home at all, and I had to make it on the plane, the bus, the hotel, the locker room. Ironically, I put it on and it split right down the middle. I had to re-stitch it right before I went out. I always wear clothes underneath because I’m so paranoid.”
Bianca Belair and Bayley will again make history at Survivor Series when they will be two of ten women – including Becky Lynch – to compete in the first-ever women’s WarGames match on the WWE main roster.
