Bianca Belair & Naomi Defending WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles In NXT

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Naomi will be on the road defending their titles in NXT.

Bianca Belair has been a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion since she and Jade Cargill won the titles for a second time at Bash In Berlin last August.

Later in the year on the road to Survivor Series, Cargill was mysteriously attacked, so Naomi ended up becoming Belair’s tag team partner. After a successful title defense, they were recognized as the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

As the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Belair and Naomi are supposed to defend the titles on all three brands. Since Belair and Naomi are SmackDown stars, they are usually on that show, but they could appear on Raw and NXT at any time.

During the January 14th WWE NXT broadcast, the Meta Girls team of Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson beat the Unholy Union’s Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn to earn a shot at the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

WWE Announces Bianca Belair & Naomi’s Next Title Match Will Be In Atlanta

After Legend and Jackson won the number one contender’s tag team match on NXT, it wasn’t announced when the title match would take place. However, the title match has been officially announced by NXT’s boss man Shawn Michaels. Belair & Naomi will defend the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson on the January 28th edition of NXT in Atlanta.

The Raw brand will be in Atlanta on January 27th while NXT’s show will take place at the famous Center Stage venue.

Bianca Belair started her career on the NXT brand in the late 2010s while Naomi also started on another version of NXT when he was a rookie in the company about 15 years ago. For both women, a match in NXT will be a return home to where they started as WWE superstars.
