Bianca Belair Hits Back At Reports Of Backstage Frustration

Bianca Belair WWE

Bianca Belair has opened up about WWE’s hectic run to WrestleMania.

For several months, WWE has been widely praised for assembling the most talented women’s roster in the company’s history. This has seen the introduction of two new championships, while the likes of Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch stand as two of the biggest stars in the entire industry.

However, this has come with an increased level of expectation for how the division should be presented — expectations that many feel aren’t being met.

It was recently reported that several women within WWE are frustrated with the booking of the division and how talent is utilised. The report acknowledged that WWE wants to try and present the men’s and women’s divisions on an equal footing, but results have been mixed.

Although her feelings on the situation weren’t discussed, it was highlighted that Natalya hasn’t been featured regularly despite signing a new contract.

Bianca Belair Denies Talks Of Unrest

In conversation with Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post, Bianca Belair denied seeing any frustration backstage. The former Women’s Champion admitted that this is a hectic time of year with everyone battling to get to WrestleMania, but added that it’s only normal.

Belair closed by saying that everyone wants to feature at WrestleMania, and if you don’t, why are you here?

“I haven’t really seen anything, to be honest. What I will say is that it is WrestleMania season and everyone is fighting to get on WrestleMania. It’s the biggest time of the year and is our Super Bowl. Everyone wants to be on WrestleMania.

Our roster is so stacked and we have so many talented women, and we just saw that at the Royal Rumble where you had women from the past, present, and future. Every single woman in the match could have a WrestleMania caliber match. That’s why I’m happy we got two new titles to showcase that talent.

It’s a hectic time of the year and everyone is fighting to get on WrestleMania. That’s how this time of the year is. Our roster is so stacked we need those opportunities to showcase that. It’s going to keep getting crazier and crazier because women from NXT are going to get called up and we’re all fighting to get to WrestleMania. That’s just natural feelings.

If you don’t want to be on WrestleMania, why are you here? Everyone wants to be on WrestleMania. It’s a natural feeling,”

Belair will be back in action at Elimination Chamber when she faces Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Bayley, and Naomi in the structure of the same name. The winner will go on to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania.
