When it comes to superstar performers in the WWE women’s division, it doesn’t get much better than the current Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.

Bianca Belair has been one of the top female superstars in WWE over the last two years. In 2021, she won the Royal Rumble for the first time at the only Royal Rumble event with no fans in attendance. From there, she went on to win her first major title when she defeated Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37 to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion in a match that saw two black women main event a WrestleMania for the first time.

Last year at WrestleMania 38, Bianca Belair beat Becky Lynch to become the Raw Women’s Champion for the first time. That title reign has lasted nearly 300 days as we head into this year’s Royal Rumble.

The next challenger for Belair’s Raw Women’s Title will be Alexa Bliss, who gets another shot at the gold this Saturday at the Royal Rumble. Bliss was an ally to Belair for the second half of 2022 before turning heel on Belair on the January 2nd edition of Raw.

In an interview with Instinct Culture by Denise Salcedo,Belair spoke about facing Bliss at the Royal Rumble.

“I’m excited to go against Alexa, you know, just to get my revenge back on her. It’s been a rough couple of weeks going up against her. I don’t know who’s going to come out, Bray Wyatt, Uncle Howdy. I don’t know, but it’s gonna be rough, it’s gonna be tough, but I’m the roughest and toughest.”

As she continued, Bianca Belair spoke about the support and passion that fans have for women’s wrestling.

“I love our fans. Our fans always come through for us. I main evented WrestleMania because they made a hashtag pushing for us to be the main event. Our fans always support us. Our job is to put a smile on their faces, so to know that we’re doing that for them, and they’re there for us, and they want more for the women’s division, it’s amazing.”

“We always show up and we always show out. I love that we have a locker room and a roster of women that can go out there and put on amazing shows and our fans appreciate that.”
