Bianca Belair Talks Having Special Entrance At WrestleMania 39
Bianca Belair has revealed that she has something special planned for her third WrestleMania as she prepares to defend the Raw Women’s Title.
For the third straight WrestleMania, Bianca Belair will be in a Women’s Championship match, except this time she’s walking into the match as the champion.
At WrestleMania 37 in 2021, Belair and Sasha Banks headlined Night One with a terrific match that was for the Smackdown Women’s Champion. Belair won that match to give her the first championship of her WWE career.
Last year at WrestleMania 38, Bianca Belair challenged Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Title. Belair won that match too and she’s been the champion for the whole year since then.
This year at WrestleMania 39 on April 1st or April 2nd, Bianca Belair will have a tough test when she is challenged by the three-time Women’s Champion Asuka, who has been playing mind games with Belair for several weeks.
In addition to winning championships and leading the WWE women’s division, Belair is also known for making her own ring gear along with elaborate entrances too. In an interview with the “In The Kliq” podcast, Belair was asked if she might have a big entrance.
“Of course. That’s what’s exciting about WrestleMania. It’s not just the matches. Everybody’s anticipating what the gear is going to look like? What is the entrance going to look like? I had the TSU band last year bring me out, and I’m like, ‘Wow. What can I possibly do to top that?'”
“So, you know, I have something planned and it’s very sentimental to me, and I’m excited about it. I just want this Mania to be, you know, not just about me. I’m building my legacy here and I want my legacy to not just be what people remember what I do, but they remember how I made them feel and inspired. I want it to be bigger than me. I’m just trying to bring that to the table, but I’m very excited about my entrance this year.”
